Po is an abbreviation of the English word polylefen. In China, it is polyolefin. In Japan, it refers to polyolefin film. At present, Po film has been widely used in the cultivation of greenhouse vegetables and is one of the more popular greenhouse covering materials.
Po film has the advantages of high light transmittance, long-term precipitation of droplets, and aging resistance. But in different regions, there are different sunshine and climate differences. Is it suitable for other greenhouse plants to use membranes? What kind of film quality is better?
At present, the membrane has been widely used, which shows that the application prospect of the membrane is relatively broad. In the past few years, polyethylene film has been widely used by greenhouse growers in many areas, and some people even use polyvinyl chloride film. The main reason is that the price of PE film and PVC film is relatively cheap. With the rise of green agriculture in my country, the public’s demand for healthy food, and the country’s support policy for agricultural greenhouse planting, more and more young people have begun to engage in greenhouse planting. Their concepts are more open than their fathers and they can accept new thing. In the field of greenhouse cultivation, more and more people are beginning to discover that light is a better fertilizer, and a good plastic film can get higher economic benefits. Therefore, in recent years, the film market has developed rapidly. As a kind of plastic film, Po film is favored by many greenhouse growers because of its many excellent properties.
On the other hand, my country's agricultural film companies also saw this business opportunity and began to produce film. Due to the uneven production technology and production capacity of agricultural film companies, coupled with factors such as raw material procurement and corporate management, the quality of the films sold on the market is uneven, and therefore there are uneven quality films. We all call our products Po-film, but not all products are real Po-film.
Second, although the country has national standards for agricultural film products, each agricultural film manufacturer has its own corporate standards and may not follow the national standards. Different corporate standards lead to different film quality. In addition, in the purchase of raw materials, different raw materials also determine the quality of the film.
What kind of film is considered to be a real film, at least must meet its characteristics: long-term droplet defogging performance or droplet defogging performance. The difference between PO film and ordinary PE film is that the film can drip and defog, while PE film cannot. At present, PE film can be dripped for 3-4 months, but it does not have fogging performance. However, as long as the film is used, its droplet defogging performance will last for 3 years. If used for 3 years, the droplet defogging performance can be maintained for 3 years. This is something PE film cannot do, and EVA film cannot do it.
